Hi, there! I'm Anastacia of Anastacia Knits Designs aka anastaciaknits (I'm also anastaciaknits on twitter and instagram).

Despite the name, I am a knit and crochet designer!

I've been designing for almost ten years now, though only seriously for the past four. I specialize in easy knit and crochet accessories, mainly self-published, and most of my designs are written in such a way that you can use any weight of yarn, using any gauge and any size hook or needles, to make the item your desired size, using the amount of yarn you have on hand.

I've also been published in a variety of traditional publications, from Just Socks, to I Like Crochet, Love of Crochet magazine, Crochet World, Crochet 1-2-3, etc., and am a regular featured contributor to the on-line crochet magazine, Crochetvolution.

I'm a professional member of the Crochet Guild of America, have a Master's in Crochet through the CGoA, and am also a certified knit and crochet teacher through the Craft Yarn Council and have been teaching locally at Michaels, local yarn shops and giving private lessons for two years.

Besides my own design experience, I've taken multiple courses and read multiple books on design and grading, etc., both on Craftsy and in person, such as: How to Say it: Pattern Writing for Knitters, Perfect Fit Seamless Crazy Lace Cardigan, Lace Shawl Design, Know Your Wool, Design Your Own Cowl, Tunisian Crochet, Hand Knit Garment Design, Sizing Knitwear Patterns, Ins and Outs of Grafting, Short Rows, etc. I've also taken a tech editing class online.

I also have been a volunteer beta reader and proof-reader for indie-authors for the last several years, and an avid book reviewer.

I also spend way too much time on pinterest (I'm anastaciaknits there, too).
